How many bonkers cds are there

Haha , judging by these posts , some will be most Happy. But then again , some will be most disappointed. Plus read Ush and the front page of HHC mate. Well its in the title. Ya never know.

Why should he upload his music? Just so you can all say how crap it is out of principal, just because he poked fun of Bonkers This is Hardcore, not Death Matal! And what is the latest scene killing haircut so I make sure I dont go to a rave with one? And if your doing a mix why cant I?

It's a shocking and radical concept ; I realise no-one would abstractly draw that conclusion, but I have and have reason. Not that it won't be strictly "upfront UK hardcore" coz But it should do a far better job of depicting that category accurately and broadly than expected. CDJay Dude, just spill the beans already. I don't have any beans to spill, I know just enough to be confident that this will be incredibly varied and representative.

In fact even with my limited information I can state categorically that I believe this will be great.

Hopefully there is a bit of change in the DJ's. How cool would it be with a full CD mixed by Squad-E?

Squad-E not a big fan of. Aww come on! I think it would have been a great mix! Only about two tunes remember he was on Bonkers If he did a mix in the style of that, I would be pleased I bet. I do like some of Squad-E's work, especially his remixes as you've said.

I'm getting bored with Hixxy's mixes. I wanna see someone else take his place for a change, although I very much doubt that will happen as its because of Hixxy that Bonkers existed and he'll continue to do CD1 right up till the end. Bold statement. It'd be like taking Sy off a CD and replacing him with Unknown. I thought his bonkers 15 mix was quality as well.

Its one i often go back to for a listen! I didn't say "remove Hixxy, put Squad-E instead". The Doc. I'm not being funny Craig! Hixxy on Bonkers again thats what it will be. Well then CD4 on Bonkers 15 is pointless. Yeah but pretty much in the style of Hixxy's mix, although a few exceptions.

I dont get info on every album. Some i do , so i dont. And i cant say because it's not my place to say. Jesus Christ!! I was told the info , and told to keep Hush. End of! It's really annoying, that a few people here or on other forums as some kind of insiders let everyone know that they already know this or that album's line-up, tracklist etc. Why are these people doing this? Tell us the info or if you cannot, then say nothing!

But don't say 'I know the line-up, it's amazing, you will love it! It's really a provocating behaviour. Imagine yourself in our place! How would YOU feel? And it's not addressed primarily to you, Craig, but to all these 'insiders'.

If for example a line-up is already fixed, what is the point in holding back this info? I could never understand that They aren't trying to piss off anyone. They are actually just generating excitement about it. Generally by some sort of contract the lineup can't be released. No one is trying to make you jealous, it's just to make you go, wow I can't wait to see who's on it.

Hixxy's mix should be an entertaining one I hope. Haha , yeah. It's just a cd line up! Maybe if he knew more insight on more important issues, then it would seem more unfair to us, but its just a cd line up, we will all know in a few weeks. If you are saying Evil activities are doing a disc on the new bonkers. I'm going to get it right away instead of waiting a year for the price to decrease on ebay I've been seeing tons of uk hardcore CD boxsets in the shops.

They just keep coming! Yeah annoying isnt it. Harry H. Taken from the news page: An online retailer has posted the artwork for upcoming "Bonkers 17 - Rebooted" album by UK record label Resist which reveals the complete lineup for the new album. Bonkers 17 - Rebooted. Not the same without Hixxy Bonkers legend Was it his decision not to mix on it?

I'm personally glad Hixxy ain't mixing on it. Don't get me wrong cos i think Hixxy's a legend but it's nice to have some new artists on Bonkers. Gone right off the Raver Baby label lately. Oh yeah i forgot to say. I think the cover looks wicked. Hixxy clearly isn't in the Bonkers style anymore.

These DJ's mix and create tracks that are totally bonkers!! This looks great. Can't wait to see a tracklist. Looks interesting to say the very least. Bit disapointed that Hixxy is abscent, but nonetheless the series is showing some variation, which is always a good thing for the hardcore scene. Bring on the tracklist! Heh, interesting. After Scott Brown moaning about people putting all there own tracks on albums I'll be interested to see what he uses on his mix Like the artwork :.

Like the artwork : I'd be more worried about two people from the same label sharing a disk. Looks awsome!! Glad they kept the cartoon cover! The new logo looks SHIT! Why does Ham look like Hixxy but with different colour hair? Why does Brisk look like a 90 year old man? This actually now looks like its worth a listen.

Think about it. Nice one! I was under the impression that Marc Smith was more freeform than gabber? Does that mean that CD3 has a possibility to be good?

Ooooo so the next thing will be the tracklist then the advert! I wonder what the tag line will be on the album advert? Reboot to the coorrrrrrr!!!!!! Shame on you guys. Its his label releasing this bonkers and theres no sight of raverbaby crew. But this will be awesome. Definitely on the top of the purchase list.

DJ line up looks great. This will be getting bought that's for sure. The color sceheme and logo style of the album art reminds me of School House Rock Reason Hixxy aint on their is simple. Clubland Extreme Hardcore 4 is out a month after this , so exclusive material from that will be held back.

Bonkers really needed this change , and i'm all for it. Again from what i hear , the tracklisting is going to be really varied , and there will be virtually no loading. From what i've heard regading some of the tunes and artists on their , this will be something special. PS , this post isn't trying to annoy anyone lol ;. I think it was him that added the happier Ham tracks on Bonkers 15? Resist isn't Hixxy's label. Funny thing is , most of the times when previous Bonkers albums have been announced , the majority of people are like , "Oh , usual names , Hixxy etc etc , Bonkers needs variety".

As said , this is what the Bonkers franchise needed. And be also very thankfull this isn't gonna be loaded , as it so easily could have been.

It's been mixed , so tracklisting shouldn't be too far off. Dont ever say that to Smithy's face about him being a Freeform DJ. He hates it. He likes to be known as a Hardcore DJ. And there is only a few Gabba tracks at the end anyways Smithy will play virtaully anything , and will definitley bring the diversity to Scott Browns mix.

On Bonkers? Most people think of Marc Smith as beeing Freeform because he always has stuff on Sharkey's mixes and mxied with Sharkey in Bonkers 15 and alot of his stuff is on Sharkey's earlier Bonkers mixes when it was called 'Trancecore' Old Skool Freeform He isnt shy of using Hard 'Beats' maybe him and Scott will have a bit of Bouncy Techno and Happy gabber before the agressive stuff?

Suprised Hixxy isnt on Bonkers as he has only been apsent from one Bonkers 6 and with Brisk and Kevin joining who will take thier place on hardcore Heaven 5 maybe Hixxy or the return of Sy?

Will be interesting to see the tracklisting! Yeah the 5th Hardcore Heaven line up will be interesting. Think that will be out early next year though.

Resist are releasing alot of albums just now. I am a little disappointed that Hixxy will not be on this album cuz 4 me he was alwayz the one 2 bring the more happier tunes. It reminded me of the late 90s hardcore sound. Dougal and Gammer were the only other ones to bring the simliar sounds as Hixxy.

As 4 Brisk and Ham, I am glad that they will b on the album. I enjoy my trax being longer i get more in2 them that way. I would, however, have liked 2 c scott brown off this album. He is sounding so repetitive and doesn't bring much variety 2 his albums.

What are you talking about? Hixxy's mixing has become slower and his production has become stale. He hasnt brought any new sounds to Hardcore for a good while. My bad. Thats a awsome lineup : good to have some less used djs, rather then ones on a new mix cd every 2months. Should be ok Well you'll no doubt enjoy the 4th Clubland Extreme Hardcore album out early Dec.

As much as i enjoy the Raverbaby sound , i'm so glad that Bonkers has got the much needed shake up. Im keen to hear this cd, should be great ;. Im pleased that there is something different finally. But when I read your post I saw that Clubland Extreme Hardcore 4 is coming in dec, if thats true I have much to look forward to because he is my favorite Dj, and I have to say that I was very disappointed when I saw the dj lineup first today.

But as I said then I read your post so it's ok now. But if you ask me I'd say Hixxy is the most important guy in Bonkers and I didn't think there would very be a Bonkers without him but I'm looking forward to see what Brisk and Ham can bring. Peace Niko.

Change of DJs for the next Bonkers exciting. Maybe even a full gabber cd? R U sure? Bnk 29th october CXH4: 4th december That's just 1 month! I couldn't dream of a better line-up! Good to se a RBC-free Bonkers! Da Cunney Bugz. Hopefully this will help alot of folk to see past the shite thats been released lately There movement in my pants already just thinking about the brisk and ham intro, there first bonkers!

Love the DJ line-up! It will be interesting to see what they come up with. None of those Dj's are gabber DJ's. So if you want proper gabber on Bonkers, move over n let Angerfist on. I refer you to Bonkers Niko22 : Hixxy doesn't do hardcore no more In m honesty opinion - and fair play to him Bonkers just ISN'T a "clubby" thing I'm gonna spread the word about this Its Really made my day. Hope it's going to be gabber. I'm kinda getting a little tired of the uk stuff at the minute.

It's gonna be second bonkers album NOT to feature hixxy, the 1st being bonkers 6 where he was replaced with dougal took his place and vibes became cd 3.

Its Really made my day Please dont use the term "clubcore". It's sounds so degrading. Mr igloo. Wow, what a line up :. Craigavon raver. Bonkers 15 was outstanding. All 4 mixes were top! Surprised anyone can say it was one of the worst! As far as Bonkers 7 goes, I will agree Dougal had some of the best tracks.

If Hixxy's mix would have been bpm, it would have been better! Sy's tracks just seemed Bonkers 4, Dougal had an excellent mix. Sharkey had an incredible mix, and I dont like freeform, lol. Hixxy's mix was sorda too repetetive in sound, but I love the opening track. But that's pretty much the only track I listen to from that CD Dougal's mix sounded faster than Hixxy's.

Stop talking about old Bonkers or I'll have to choke a bitch. Nice dig! Have a look at some recent photos of them. Brisk has got the skin-head and always wears sunglasses, Ham's got light coloured hair when it grows, Brisks is Black. It's very simple. Bottom from left to right: Ham , Sharkey , Brisk. I listened to Bonkers up until it all went wierd. All that strange trancey stuff that Pixxy was playing.

I just wish people would play hardcore thats good and makes a good set instead of playing everything off their own label. Which is why the original bonkers , bonkers 1, will probably never be bettered. He's probably only on this site to piss people off. Well duh!

We've gotten used to it. We just mainly ignore him. I personally belive its one of the moderators laughing his ass off with alternate account, just to have a laugh winding people up, or 'Trolling'. Theres no way someone would keep comming back so consistanly when they hated basically everything new. But if there is - I want proof! Resist want a dj rankin and hixxy mix.

I think 95 is a real person, I also, in a non-insulting way, think he is a homosexual. But yeah, this is good news :. How come? A homosexual? Sharkey's and Kev Nrg's disc will be pretty good. Good enough for me to buy it? Probably not. I think Bonkers should take a little break. They need to get those creative juices flowing again. I haven't heard any stand out mixes since Sharkey's disc on Bonkers 13; my personal favorite. Tracklisting looks After this split, its genus kept evolving, drawing in elements of more diverse scenes and planting the seeds for hardstyle and the very UK phenomenon of donk.

Founded by React Records, purveyors of the harder end of the dance spectrum, the series launched in with DJs Hixxy and Sharkey at the controls. A Year Of Mixtapes was a sprawling, ambitious blog project started in with the intention of releasing a mix a week from Chrissy, a now San Francisco based DJ and producer with an encyclopaedic knowledge of everything from dancehall and disco to jungle and happy hardcore.

This really awful later-era cheeseball stuff is the reason for happy hardcore's bad rap. The dispute is between those who welcomed it with open arms probably held aloft on the dancefloor and those slagging it off arms presumably folded from the sidelines, and now still via the internet. Opening with a chopped amen, the staple of breakbeat hardcore, as soon as a heavily distorted kick had reached the first breakdown all similarities ended. The London-centric media - DJ Mag included - typically concerns itself with scenes close to home, but parts of the country have never stopped the Bonkers vibe.
